We've bundled Sylvia Putman's autobiography and memoir together with our Grace Journal to create an impactful duo focused on God's grace. Come join Sylvia on her missionary journeys over the last several years and be reminded of God's grace in your own life.
From the author: I was a foreigner in a foreign land watching the world around me through the perspective of my training and personal experience. Through decades of serving as a missionary in various capacities: humanitarian aid worker, church planter, children’s ministry, women’s ministry, charitable endeavors, and more, I can say that I have learned more from God and his people than I could have imagined. Through trials and triumphs God’s grace carried us through cross-cultural living, raising children, a pandemic, and surrounding wars. My hope is that you will get a glimpse into the life of a missionary family. I pray you will be encouraged to live out the purpose God has for you. We are His representatives in our family, our workplace, and our communities. He is the God of endless possibilities!
From Kendra at Scripture Flips: I've known Sylvia and her husband John for many years and I still did not know most of these amazing stories. Some even took my breath away. Reading her memoirs truly encouraged me in my faith and evoked a strong feeling of gratitude for my great God who sees all of us, is always working and loves His people so very much.
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.” - Ephesians 3:20-21
